Yunnan Jinke flower Engineering Research Center Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "flower Engineering Center") was established in 2010. It is a project undertaking unit of flower Engineering Research Center jointly organized by the national development and Reform Commission and Yunnan Provincial Development and Reform Commission. It focuses on the variety research of flowers and garden plants, the development, promotion and consulting services of new technologies.
At present, Jinke center has a core R & D base of more than 300 mu, more than 30000 flower varieties and more than 20 professional technicians. 101 new varieties of flowers with independent intellectual property rights have been applied for and over 50000 varieties of flower resources have been possessed. In recent years, more than 500 new rose varieties, more than 200 new Gerbera varieties, more than 50 new rose plant variety rights applied for protection and more than 10 new Gerbera plant variety rights have been cultivated. At the same time, international cooperation has been continuously strengthened. More than 400 new varieties have been introduced from international breeders in Holland, France and Spain such as "Schreurs" and "moerheim". High specification packaging production equipment and software management system have been introduced to create a strong service market.
